Ideas for making our master bedroom awesome...

So the first project we did when we moved in was paint our bedroom. My whole family helped... Mom, Dad, brother and husband. The color I chose was well, a little overboard. You see, I am obsessed with anything aqua thanks to my Tiffany's addiction. So I chose this bright, almost neon, aqua called "Simply Aqua" from Velspar. Well, it's been a year and a half with it up on the wall and as much as I love aqua, it has extended it's stay. I have really been in to grey lately, and adding a color as an accent. So my new direction of our room will be grey, with an aqua accent wall ( a lighter aqua than what is on the wall now). I want to make it very chic and sophisticated... simple, but classy.

Now, I wish I was this brave... but I'm not so sure that I am! Either using this wallpaper on the wall where our bed is, or putting chair molding around the room and having this on the bottom half.. but then it would be covered up by furniture and wouldn't be very visible, but I still absolutely love it! (it's from Urban Outfitters)




As far as bedding, we have a down comforter and right now there is just a solid black duvet, it is too dreary and it was cheap and temporary.. this is what I have in mind... I love the silver finish, and I would get the shams as well. (the grey option, and this is from West Elm)



OK SERIOUSLY, I LOVE ETSY!!!! I have found some amazing artists on there, and hello, look at these throw pillows!!!





























I'm definitely leaning towards the monochromatic "aqua/turquoise/teal" scheme... and I might add a pop of a different color in somehow.. I really love red accents with aquas.. we'll see!! But you get the idea, I can't wait to get started on this project, not sure when I'll get started.. but here is my vision!


I have a lot of other decorating I'm doing around the house.. will post when I get to work on that!
