Little Levi: 3 Months Old

Hi! This is Levi, coming to you with a 3 month update.

I don't have any measurements to give this month because I didn't have a "Well Baby" check up this month. I did, however, go to the pediatrician to get some shots because Mom and Dad chose to do a delayed vaccination schedule. So 2 of the shots I didn't get at my 2 month appointment, I got this month. Otherwise, I wouldn't of gone to the pediatrician at all. When I turn 4 months I'll have a "Well Baby" check up, I'm sure I will have grown a whole lot! Mommy and Daddy really hate to vaccinate me at all, especially because this time I was sick the next day (I had a low grade fever and was fussy). And they especially hate that it hurts me, only momentarily though. This time, I was over it in 5 seconds. Since it's hard to get into schools without vaccinations, they chose to do it... but they chose the delayed schedule (or alternative schedule) so that I don't have so many chemicals and whatnot in my system at the same time. I'm just a baby for crying out loud!

I'm definitely starting to be a little more vocal.. I coo and make little noises, and sometimes I think "was that me?" and it startles me. But everyone finds it pretty darn cute.

I went to the church nursery for the first time. The ladies loved watching me, they said I did great! Mom and Dad really enjoyed being able to enjoy the sermon/worship without me being there as a distraction.. and I enjoyed being with other little babies! It's a pet peeve of Mommy's that people don't put their kids in children's church. It's such a great resource, why not use it?!

I am also a pro at holding my head up like a boss without any assistance. When I'm being held, I just sit up like a little person. I also tried my Johnny Jump Up (a bouncer that hangs from door frame) and although I'm still a bit small for it, I can hold my head up just fine in it. I mostly like to lean over and suck on the edges.

I also started grabbing/swatting at my toys on my floor gym! Before you know it I will be reaching for everything!
